Life isn’t perfect, but your outfit can be. In a world of social media, we are obsessed with the way we look and the way we dress. There are new technologies that have contributed immensely to textile printing and production. Consumers today love to wear new-age fabrics and designs that make them appear modern and urban. However, in this race of development and technological influences, we have somehow got disconnected from our roots. This post is all about the art of daboo printing that has managed to stay alive despite tough market competition.
In a world of cars and bikes, cycling tour seems like a boring activity. However, it all depends on your perspective. A cycling tour is not just about wearing lycra and sweating profusely as you pedal through your route. I had always wanted to do more cycling activities but the hectic routine offers me very little time. However, I somehow managed to experience a memorable bicycle tour in Udaipur and I was really excited about it.
Food is such an important part of the tours we do. Normally, when I and Sarah tour some place we check for some of the best restaurants that we could find. Even before we had thought of Udaipur, I had a word with one of my friends Zeyd on Udaipur. Since he is originally from Udaipur, we had a long chat on how Udaipur would be a great place for us to holiday and travel. It was then, that he had recommended me Tribute restaurant that offers lakeside fine dining. So, the first thing that I noted in my diary was this place. I’m glad that he did because it was definitely worth the experience.
If you are in Udaipur and if you are visiting Sajjangarh Biological Park you must also take some time out for the Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace. We would recommend that you take a day out for both these places as you can explore the park and the palace on the same day. However, you need to ensure that you are in complete control of how you spend your time here. After exploring the park we decided to head back to the same twin entrance gate to buy tickets for the Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace. However, this time we entered the right side gate.
Have you ever experienced this? When you step into an empty bus, you often have no clue which window seat you want to pick. You scramble around for a while before you make a decision. Well, that is exactly what happened to us after we settled into our comfortable Airbnb homestay in Udaipur. While we had done our research we were not sure where to head first. Since I and Sarah are nature lovers, our obvious choice was Sajjangarh Biological Park.
It all started with an Airbnb advertisement I saw on Instagram. Yes, that was the Big Bang moment that eventually led to this epic journey we had to Udaipur. Believe me, if you are trigger-happy photography enthusiasts like me and Sarah sorting the best images is really tough. While Sarah is busy with the images, I decided to write on our first Airbnb homestay in Udaipur. We believe this would be the right start to take this blog forward and share our honest experiences.

India experiences a hot and humid climate. However, by the first week of June, the Southwest Monsoon winds bring the Southwest Monsoon season. This is also known as the rainy season in India. The monsoon brings in moderate to heavy rains and strong surface winds. This drops the temperature significantly and changes the landscape completely. In the next few weeks, the dry parched brown landscape turns into a lush green space. This is the time when the monsoon creatures in India appear all over the places.

There are certain things in life that you don’t choose; it just becomes a part of it. Writing is one such thing that I didn’t choose, but now it has become an integral part of my life, both personally and professionally. While most people would see this as a great life where I get certain luxuries that they don’t there are certain things that most travel bloggers and professional writers don’t talk about.
