If you have been reading my blog posts regularly you would’ve known by now that I love Marine Drive, a sea-side boulevard in South Mumbai. Well, I am a sea person and therefore I am always searching for new sea-side destinations that can offer me some great sunrise and sunset experiences. One of the things Mumbaikars would agree on with me is that there are many beaches in the city. For instance, the Girgaum Chowpatty, the Worli Sea Face, Bandra Bandstand, Aksa Beach in Malad and the most popular of all the Juhu Beach in Vile Parle.
People like me in Mumbai are always looking for excuses and opportunities to just pack the bags and rush into the lap of nature where one can find peace. Of course, after a week of hectic lifestyle, horrible local train commuting experiences and pathetic treatment from a nagging boss or senior employee what else do you really need? This time I decided to head in a different direction towards Gujarat where you will find some really good monsoon destinations. Saputara is not too far from Mumbai, it’s around 250 kilometers, so if you take off early morning you have entire day to explore the beauty of nature that is offers.
